i don't blame you, kind of a stupid post, but i figured you all would be able to get past the inane sarcasm and actually offer up a few worthwhile suggestions.

i was dead wrong, clearly

not a stupid post at all!!

i just tend to gravitate toward inane sarcasm (as evidenced by my posting history)

i cannot apologize for my sense of humor, but I do apologize if you took it the wrong way. in no way was it my intention to demean your post

hope your day becomes less bleak - kinda bleak here too - the sun has run away and hidden, leaving only some sweltering humidity in its stead

I love marmalade but is there another kind except orange? If so then why call it ORANGE marmalade?

You can make marmalade from any citrus fruit. So you can have lime, grapefruit and lemon as well as orange, or any combination of these.

it is uselss to argue with that UK Buffoon ;)

of course WE know that there is only one kind of marmalade. I mean really - another type of fruit would have to have some nerve attempting to call itself a marmalade. Orange is the KING!! any other flavor of (ahem) marmalade would simply just be another flavor of jam.

(no wonder we kicked their asses in the Revolutionary War. While our troops were enjoying the energizing and refreshing effects of the TRUE marmalade, they were just getting their fingers sticky in jars of jam)

Is loading your musket something you do when you're alone in the house with the pay per view?

Meyer Lemon Marmalade is spectacular. Try it with another flavor of coffee. Branch-out JOTS! French Roast. That's so.....uh, my mom circa 1978.

Eh. What do we really expect from our seal-clubbing, igloo dwelling, Russia seeing forum brother? (I'm joking here Micah. JOTS can't really see Russia. His igloo has no windows.)

Awesome hijack Dire. Keep up the good work.

well I do mix it up on occasion but it has to be dark. but I never mess with my marmelade. actually I like lemon that sounds good

Last time we were in S.F. I got a cup of this blend at this cafe down the street and I forgot what they called it but I haven't been that amped up since my drug fiend days. Made a sludge cup seem weak.

that Meyer Lemon Marmalade does indeed sound delicious!! Since I am going to the supermarket tomorrow, I just may take a looksie for that.

Orange may just have to take a step aside temporarily.

(gotta love French Roast - and another one I enjoy on occasion is Rassberry-Chocolate Coffe)

It's just a kind of very thick apple sauce isn't it? Not something we really have here. How do you eat it?
